Non potrei trovare parole migliori per descrivere questo preciso momento della mia vita!

I couldn’t find better words to describe this precise moment in my life!

In un pomeriggio di shopping con le amiche, presa da nostalgia dei tempi dell’università, ho comprato un blocco bianco, di quelli che usavo per le materie progettuali, e ho iniziato a disegnare.

On an afternoon of shopping with friends, with nostalgia for university days, I bought a white block, the one I used for design subjects, and I started drawing.

Fin da subito ho pensato ai miei disegni come a dei sogni colorati, pensieri positivi che trasformavo in sorridenti e colorate “dolls”. Fin da subito ho pensato che volevo “materializzarle” al di fuori del blocco da disegno.

Since the beginning I thought about my drawings as colorful dreams, positive thoughts that I turned into smiling and colorful “dolls”. I thought I wanted to “materialize” them outside the drawing pad.

Ho attraversato periodi di “total black”, periodi di “leggings e maglietta tutta la vita”, periodi di “se non mi vedono dalla luna, non è abbastanza colorato”.

I went through periods of “total black”, periods of “leggings and T-shirts all my life”, periods of “if they don’t see me from the moon, it’s not colorful enough”.

Ora scelgo di essere una colorata sognatrice!

I sogni sono nelle piccole cose! I miei sogni si trasformano in ballerine che volteggiano in colorati tutù e diventano amiche che chiacchierano al parco.
Ho iniziato a cucire perché volevo vestirmi come ‘sognavo’ e poi sognavo di vestire dei miei stessi sogni.
Se i vostri sogni si trasformassero in disegni, cosa sarebbero?

Now I choose to be a colorful dreamer!

Dreams are in small things! My dreams turn into dancers who twirl in colorful tutus and become friends chatting in the park.
I started sewing because I wanted to dress like “I dreamed” and then I dreamed of wearing my own dreams.

Sognare non significa perdersi tra le nuvole a mente annebbiata, non l’ho mai assocciato al non essere realistici. Significa immaginare che qualcosa possa accadere.

I sogni non cadono dal cielo, hanno bisogno di essere inseguiti.
Io ci sono! Corro controvento tenendo ben legati colorati pensieri!

Dreaming doesn’t mean getting lost in the clouds with a clouded mind, I have never joined it with not being realistic. It means imagining that something could happen.

[A skirt full of dreams] An identity's search suspended between dream and reality where you drink tea every hour … where we challenge absurd situations, ready to rediscover ourselves between psychological games and the questioning of reality! A caption that I had written to describe what Alice's world is for me … but doesn't it seem terribly actual? I find myself reinventing who I am, what I do, how I spend time, facing the world outside as a new unknown reality … so I let myself fall into the den of the White Rabbit and drink tea at all hours. Disegnare, secondo il vocabolario è la “descrizione di un’immagine tramite linee” .
L’immagine nasce quasi incontrollata nella mente mentre una mano maldestra cerca di riprodurla.
Ho fatto vari passaggi, tra fogli di carta, dove ho ridisegnato finché non è uscito quello che volevo, e layers sovrapposti di un pesantissimo file grafico.

Ho aspettato impaziente la consegna del tessuto. Vederlo concretizzato, cucirlo e indossarlo è stato più emozionante di quanto mi aspettassi.

According to the vocabulary, drawing is the “description of an image by lines”.
The image is born almost unchecked in the mind while an awkward hand tries to reproduce it.
I made several steps, between sheets of paper, where I redesigned until what I wanted came out, and overlapping layers of a very heavy graphic file.

I waited impatiently for the delivery of the fabric. Seeing it come true, sewing and wearing it was more exciting than I expected.
