Due cuori e una giacca – Two hearts and a jacket

La spesa compulsiva di tessuti invernali prende una piega diversa! Se d’estate mi faccio prendere da fantasie colorate più o meno floreali, d’inverno la fa da padrone il tatto e mi perdo in pelliccette e vellutini.

Ho preso una buona variante di tonalità, con idee precise su cosa andrò a realizzare … per chi mi segue su Instagram vedrete a breve nuove foto.

The compulsive shopping of winter fabrics takes a different way! If in the summer I get caught up by floral-colored fantasies, in winter the “touch” is the master and I get lost in furs and velvets.

La prima creazione per questo autunno è un completo in ciniglia nero. 

I cartamodelli sono entrambi già collaudati (qui i link per i pantaloni e qui il link per il bomberino) .

Il bomberino è un tipo di giacca che amo molto, chi segue il mio blog da un po’ ne ha visto almeno quattro diverse versioni, e qui vi mostro la versione “divertente”.

The first creation for this autumn is a black chenille outfit.

The bomber is a type of jacket that I love so much, those who have been following my blog for a while have seen at least four different versions, and here I show you the “funny” one.

Quando ho acquistato il vellutino nero aveva già il suo destino di trasformarsi in questo completo e già sapevo che avrei trovato un modo divertente di dare un tocco di colore.

Onestamente il rosso l’ho comprato piu che altro presa da foga natalizia, poi mi é venuta l’idea di azzardare due tasche a cuore.

Ho fatto un paio di tentativi e passato un paio di giorni in cui volevo buttare tutto nel cassonetto. 

La mia testardaggine mi ha obbligato a trovare il modo di realizzarlo.

When I bought the black velveteen it already had its own destiny to turn into this suit and I already knew that I would find a funny way to give a touch of color.

Honestly, I bought the red one because of taken by the Christmas heat, then I had the idea to hazard two heart pockets.

I made a couple of attempts and spent a couple of days in which I wanted to throw everything in the dumpster.

My stubbornness forced me to find a way to make it happen.

Il primo problema è stato realizzare due cuori più o meno uguali (la perfezione non mi appartiene e va bene cosi!). Ho risolto all’incirca al terzo tentativo. 

The first problem was to make two hearts more or less similar (the perfection does not belong to me and this is okay!). I solved it at the third try.

Il primo tentativo l’ho fatto accoppiando due strati di vellutino, decisamente troppo “molle”. Ho aggiunto un irrigidimento ed era troppo “duro” rispetto alla giacca…la cucitura tirava verso il basso. Alla fine, ho accoppiato il vellutino rosso con un damascato in tono e mi ha dato la consistenza giusta. 

I made my first try by pairing two layers of velvety, decidedly too “ oft”. I added a stiffening and it was too “hard” compared to the jacket … the seam pulled down. At the end, I paired the red velvet with a damask in tone and it gave me the right consistency.

Cucito dritto su dritto ho lasciato un’apertura laterale per poterlo girare. Prima di girarlo ho tagliato a triangoli tutto il contorno: questo fa in modo che il tessuto si modelli sulla forma curva. 

Sewed straight on, I left an opening on the side to turn it. Before turning it, I cut the whole contour into triangles: this makes the fabric modelling itself on the curved shape.

Il secondo problema è stato cucire le due tasche alla stessa altezza con la stessa inclinazione.

Ho deciso di cucire la tasca prima di unire la parte davanti della giacca al dietro.

Ho imbastito un cuore su uno dei davanti, ho sovrapposto il secondo cuore e il secondo davanti e da qui ho imbastito tutto.

La lampo rossa mi sembrava un bel tocco da abbinare alle tasche.

The second problem was to sew the two pockets at the same height with the same angle.

I decided to sew the pocket before joining the front of the jacket to the back.

I put a heart on one of the fronts, I placed the second heart and the second front in front of it and ,from here, I tacked everything.

The red zip seemed to me a nice touch to match the pockets.

Volevo un tono di colore anche per il pantalone e ho deciso per una fascia viola come cinturone.

La prima scelta mi era andata in automatico sul rosso, poi mi sono immaginata in questo completo rosso/nero e ho deciso di introdurre un terzo colore.

Sono molto soddisfatta di questa scelta, visto tutto insieme funziona!

I wanted a color tone even for the trousers and I decided for a purple band like a belt.

The first choice was automatically on the red color, then I imagined myself in this red / black suit and I decided to introduce a third color.

I am very satisfied with this choice, since everything works together!

Volevo un ulteriore personalizzazione per i pantaloni, cosi ho ricamato una farfalla in filo nero metallico, un piccolo dettaglio che luccica un po’ solo con il sole!

I wanted a further customization for the trousers, so I embroidered a butterfly in black metallic thread, a small detail that shines a little with the sun!

Questo completo è particolarmente importante per me perchè è il primo che porta la mia “etichetta”.
