La blusa dei sogni _ The dreams blouse

Chi sei??

Di certo non basta una frase, siamo tutti esseri complessi, ma se devo spiegare chi sono è questa la prima cosa che mi viene in mente. 

“Ho iniziato a cucire perché volevo vestirmi come ‘sognavo’ e poi sognavo di vestire dei miei stessi sogni.”

Allora riparto da qui e rimetto ordine. 
Se parlo di indossare sogni, parlo di abiti e bijoux, del mio blog pieno di pensieri apparentemente disconnessi che trovano un senso nelle cose che realizzo , della mia passione per tutto ciò che è creativo.

In questi giorni mi sento come se i colori si stessero sbiadendo e allora me lo ricordo… e indosso i miei pensieri colorati ! 

Who are you??

Certainly a sentence is not enough, we are all complex beings, but if I have to explain who I am, this is the first thing that comes to my mind.

“I started sewing because I wanted to dress like “I dreamed” and then I dreamed of wearing my own dreams.”

Then I’ll start from here and restore order.
If I’m talking about wearing dreams, I’m talking about clothes and bijoux, about my blog full of apparently disconnected thoughts that find meaning in the things I make, about my passion for everything creative.

These days I feel like the colors are fading and then I remember it … and I’m wearing my colorful thoughts!

Il cartamodello è la blusa N.12 a cui ho aggiunto le maniche dell’abito N.8 entrambi del numero de “La mia Boutique” di ottobre 2017.

The pattern is the N.12 blouse to which I added the sleeves of the N.8 dress, both from the October 2017 issue of “La mia Boutique”.

Questo è uno di quei cartamodelli che conservavo in attesa della giusta ispirazione, ed eccola qui!

This is one of those patterns that I kept while waiting for the inspiration, and here it is!

Il corpetto è in jeans elasticizzato, un tipo di tessuto che amo molto, perfetto anche per realizzare bustier.

Il tessuto è troppo spesso, per questo ho tolto il bordo del corpetto.

The bodice is in stretch jeans, a type of fabric that I love so much, also perfect for making bustiers.

The fabric is too thick, so I removed the edge of the bodice.

La parte sopra è una leggera viscosa di lana, stampata con i miei disegni. Polsini e solino sono in jeans.

The top is a light wool viscose, printed with my designs. Cuffs and solino are in jeans.

Per la viscosa di lana ho usato cuciture all’inglese.

Considerando la trasparenza del tessuto è utile avere una buona finitura interna.

For the wool viscose I used English seams.
Considering the transparency of the fabric it’s better to have a good internal finish.

Ho applicato una piccola striscia di tessuto termoadesivo sul girocollo e sull’apertura dietro.

I ironed a small strip of iron-on fabric on the crewneck and back neckline

Il rinforzo sul girocollo da maggiore risalto alle pieghe.

The  strengthening on the crewneck gives greater prominence to the folds.

Ho cucito il tessuto termoadesivo come fosse uno sbieco per rifinire l’apertura dietro.

I sewed the iron-on fabric as a bias to finish the neckline behind.

Per il jeans ho rifinito i bordi con la tagliacuci.

For the jeans I finished the edges with the overlock.

Un bottone a pressione per chiudere il colletto, una lampo invisibile per il corpetto e la blusa è pronta!

A snap button to close the collar, an invisible zipper for the bodice and the blouse is ready.
