…A spalle scoperte / …with bare shoulders

In questo periodo sto facendo molte cose nuove; mi piacerebbe darmi piu tempo per scrivere un articolo su ogni argomento, ma il tempo non basta mai e le parole mi restano parcheggiate per mesi. E’ il caso di questo top a spalle scoperte: l’ho tagliato ad “estro”, come faccio spesso, e cucito mesi fa! Oggi ho deciso di mostrarvelo, soprattutto perché ho scoperto che, abbinato alla mia cintura in tessuto jeans, é veramente perfetto!

In this period I’m sewing a lot of new things; I’d like to give myself more time to write an article on each topic, but the time is never enough and the words remain “ parked” for months. It is the case of this top with bare shoulders: I cut it to “fancy”, as I often do, and sewed months ago! Today I decided to show it , mainly because I discovered that, combined with my denim belt, it is really perfect!

Volevo una cosa a spalle scoperte, dal taglio molto morbido e asimmetrico ( piu lungo dietro). Questo bellissimo tessuto mi è stato regalato da un’amica, dai colori più accesi di quanto sembri in foto, di consistenza leggera, ha avuto il suo destino già dalla prima occhiata!

I wanted something with bare shoulders, a very soft and asymmetrical cut (longer behind). I got this beautiful fabric from a friend of mine: its colors are brighter than what it looks in the photo and it has a light consistency: its destiny was already marked from the first look!

Quando si tratta di decidere come bordare, ultimamente ho decisamente la fissa per lo sbieco! Oltretutto ce l’avevo del perfetto tono di verde!

When I should decide how to hem, I choose the bias immediately! Moreover, I had the perfect green tone!

L’ho cucita, provata e ho pensato… come la abbino? La cintura jeans, sagomata tipo mini corsetto è perfetta!! La gonna jeans staziona nel mio armadio da anni come elemento “basic”… l’outfit è fatto.

I sewed it, tried it and then I thought … how do I match it? The denim belt, shaped like a mini corset is perfect! The denim skirt stands in my wardrobe for years as a “basic” element …the outfit is made!

Mentre l’orecchino/bambola (La Plastica Pazza ) è diventato ormai un must per i miei outfits.
