Le ultime cose per Natale e la mia cappa a tema – The last things for Christmas and my theme cape

Ci siamo quasi …. Un’ultima settimana per sistemare i regali di Natale!

Non so come vi organizzate voi, ma io, nonostante ogni anno parta con i migliori propositi, mi ritrovo sempre ad affannarmi a caccia di regali negli ultimi giorni. Ho fatto un paio di giri a negozi….“jingle bells” a palla, profumo di cannella come piovesse, confezioni regalo uniche nel loro genere “natalizio”… risultato : ho comprato una bomba da bagno rilassante per farmi passare il mal di testa! Dopo essere rimasta immersa una buona mezzora ho ripreso i sensi e mi sono organizzata … per fortuna esistono gli acquisti online!

Here we are … Still one week for Christmas presents!

I don’t know how you organize yourselves, but even if I begin every year with the best intentions, I’m always struggling to find gifts in the last days. I went a couple of times to the shops, “jingle bells” song on the air, the scent of cinnamon everywhere, and special “Christmas” gift editions… result: I bought a relaxing bath oil to have my headache going away! After being immersed an half an hour, I recovered completely and I organized myself… luckily  there are the online purchases!

Il borsellino/busta da infilare in borsa: se avete un tessuto rigido avanzato da altri lavori, ve ne basteranno due rettangolini.

Io avevo un bel po di jeans rigido quindi ho usato quello, e ho deciso di arricchirlo con qualche ricamo.

Per decidere la misura ho scelto prima la lampo e ho dimensionato con quella.

Il problema “e l’interno?” Mi ha preso un po di tempo. Per prima cosa ho provato a fare una fodera ma con il jeans rigido aggiungere lo stato fodera non è stata una bella idea cosi ho scucito tutto e ho deciso di bordare i due rettangoli di jeans con lo sbieco… una volta cucito e rivoltato anche l’interno risulta finito.

Per cucire sono partita dalla lampo.

Credo veramente che si possa cucirne uno in una mezzora.

I had a lot of stiff jeans so I used that one, and I decided to enrich it with some embroidery.

To decide the size I chose the zip first and I dimensioned with that.

The problem “and the inside?” It took me some time. First I tried to make a lining but with the hard jeans add the lining state was not a good idea, so I unstitched everything and I decided to edge the two rectangles of jeans with the bias … once sewed and turned over the inside is finished.

To sew it, I started from the zip.

I truly believe that you can sew one in half an hour.

Una sciarpa di tessuto : un rettangolo di tessuto in panno, un bottone o un paio di nastri ed è fatta! Per un riferimento di dimensioni ne trovate a decine su Pinterest.

 

Io ne ho fatti un paio in pelliccia nera e uno in panno bianco.

Il panno bianco messo doppio era un po’ rigido per i miei gusti quindi ho aggiunto un’arricciatura per sagomarlo un po’.

I made a couple of them in black fur and one in white cloth.

The white cloth in double layer was a bit stiff for my taste, so I added a curl to shape it a little.

 

Questa per me è anche la settimana del mio massimo mood natalizio! La cappa è pronta da settimane e non vedevo l’ora di sfoggiarla! Il modello è il n.21 sul numero di novembre de “La mia Boutique”.

 

Ho usato un panno bianco anche per l’interno cosi non ho avuto grossi problemi di finiture ed è anche piu calda!

Stavo tagliando il panno bianco quando ho avuto “l’illuminazione” di aggiungere dei ricami, l’elfo che è in me ha fatto il resto ed è nata la mia cappa natalizia!

For me this is also the week of my maximum Christmas mood! The cape is ready from a couple of weeks and I could not wait to show it off! The model is the number 21 in the November issue of “La mia Boutique”.

I used a white cloth also for the inside, so I did not have problems with the finishes and it is even warmer!

I was cutting the white cloth when I had the “lighting” to add embroidery, my elf inside made the rest and my Christmas cape was born!

Sotto ho indossato una giacca in panno nero che ho cucito un paio di anni fa sul modello del “Giacchino super easy”.

Per completare l’outfit mi sono cucita un borsellino a tema natalizio
