Una gonna in città – A skirt in the city

Ci sono giornate che nascono cosi : giornate da donne. Un messaggio nel gruppo “chi c’è?”

There are days that are born like this: women’s days. A message in the group “who is there?”

Si parte al mattino, prima tappa : colazione! Servono energie per lo shopping compulsivo di stoffe al banco in piazza…che poi in gruppo la sindrome si aggrava! Frughiamo, scegliamo, abbiniamo…. “ma tu che dici?” “Bella bella prendi!!” In fondo non c’è niente di male se facciamo girare l’economia.

It starts in the morning, the first stop: breakfast! We need energy for compulsive shopping of fabrics at the street’s bench…in a group the syndrome gets worse! We search, we choose, we match …. “But what do you think?” “Pretty good, take it!!” At the end there is nothing wrong if we “run the economy”.

Giro a negozi, proviamo, riproviamo, mi tira sulle tasche, é troppo lungo, ma hai visto che orlo??? E allora non resta che il negozio di tessuti per un round finale, l’ultimo giro per esaurire il budget.

Shopping tour, we try, and try again, it pulls on my pockets, it’s too long, but, have you seen that hem??? And, then, it remains only the fabric shop for a final round, the last lap to run out of the budget.

E’ arrivato il momento di un’altra pausa caffè. Un bicchiere d’acqua, un pasticcino, il carrellino da shopping pesa troppo: lo scarichiamo alla macchina! Ritorno alle piazze, giro spritz e poi… prima pizza dell’anno all’aperto! In una piazza gremita, l’aria fresca, il chiacchiericcio, l’atmosfera perfetta delle sere d’estate!

It’s time for another coffee-break. A glass of water, one cookie, the shopping trolley weights too much: we drain it to the car! Back to the squares, spritz ride and then … the first pizza of the year outdoors! In a crowded square, the fresh air, the chatter, the perfect atmosphere of summer evenings!

Tessuto+tulle+fodera e nastro sbieco in tono per l’orlo Fabric+tulle+lining and bias as hem

Stavolta ho aggiunto una variante: ho eliminato il cinturone, rinforzando il girovita con un nastro di canneté.

This time I added a variant: I removed the belt, reinforcing the waist with a ribbon of canneté.

La mia passione per le bamboline unita a questa stampa mi ha dato l’idea per gli orecchini: è bastato trasferire i disegni del tessuto su plastica pazza ed ecco pronti gli orecchini in pendant perfetto!

My passion for dolls combined with this print gave me the idea for the earrings: it was enough to transfer the fabric drawings on the “crazy plastic” and the earrings are ready in a perfect match!
